Evan Prizant

Evan Prizant is a costume designer, actor, director, and teacher based in Brooklyn, NY. He has acted for acclaimed American directors Anne Bogart and Jon Jory at Actors Theatre of Louisville, trained with members of SITI Co. and SCOT, and performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. In addition to New York, his designs have been seen in Cape Cod, New Orleans, and his hometown of Louisville, KY, where he worked on the 2009 Humana Festival of New American Plays. In New Orleans, Evan was a member of the Red Light District Variety Show, and worked at Southern Rep, The Shakespeare Festival at Tulane, Le Chat Noir, The NOLA Project, One Eyed Jacks, Rivertown Rep, the CAC, JPAS, and Delgado Community College as an actor, designer, craftsperson, and even a bartender. In New York, his designs have been seen onstage at The Flea, The Kraine, The Brick, Ars Nova, and Columbia University, to name a few. Evan holds a B.A. from Tulane University.
